Paige is very happy to be back in WWE and made that very clear when talking about her return to the company, which happened on the first night of WrestleMania 42, last Saturday in Las Vegas.
The Englishwoman replaced Nikki Bella, who did appear on the show but was wearing an orthopedic boot and was not cleared to compete. Paige then teamed with Brie Bella and, together, they won the Women’s Tag Team Championship in a Fatal 4-Way Match, which also involved Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, as well as Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Speaking about her return, Paige said the following:
“WWE is my home, I was raised here, I’m a WWE girl forever, and a Total Diva.“
“I didn’t know how anyone was gonna react, I’m walking out there, I forgot how big WrestleManias were. It was magical, it was surreal, I forgot how to skip at one point. I was like ‘what do I do? What does Paige do?'”
As previously reported, Paige signed a multi-year contract with WWE before the event, so we will have her full-time on programming.
It is worth remembering that the last time Paige competed for WWE was in 2017.
