WWE Sets Date for John Cena’s Final Match

John Cena’s career is nearing its conclusion, and WrestleVotes reports that a possible date for his final match has been set. NBC is eyeing Saturday, December 13, for the event, which would take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Boston’s TD Garden.

WWE had previously looked at December 27, but that would have put the show up against AEW’s Worlds End pay-per-view.

That plan was dropped because NBC will be airing NFL games then, and the network wants to avoid any scheduling conflicts.

This update comes after earlier word that WWE hadn’t yet locked in Cena’s farewell details. Cena has made it clear he won’t pick his last opponent, leaving that call entirely in WWE’s hands.
