WWE Reveals Date and Location for Next Worlds Collide

WWE and Lucha Libre AAA have officially announced the date and location for their next joint event, Worlds Collide, set for September in Las Vegas.

Just prior to the main event of AAA TripleManía XXXIII, WWE and AAA announced that the next Worlds Collide will take place in Las Vegas on Friday, September 12, 2025. The co-promoted event is scheduled for The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center, with tickets going on sale this Friday via UNLVtickets.com.

The announcement was made following Natalya’s unsuccessful challenge for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. The event is strategically scheduled for the night before the Crawford vs. Canelo boxing match, which is also backed by WWE.

This marks the second major event since WWE and AAA began their partnership, which was initiated after WWE announced its acquisition of the Mexican promotion on April 19, 2025. The first co-promoted Worlds Collide under this new alliance was held on June 7, 2025, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, as part of the Money in the Bank weekend.

The June card featured talent from WWE’s Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brands, as well as talent from AAA and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Key results from the show included:

  • El Hijo del Vikingo retained the AAA Mega Championship against Chad Gable.
  • NXT North American Champion Ethan Page successfully defended his title in a fatal four-way match against Je’Von Evans, Laredo Kid, and Rey Fénix.
  • Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice defeated the team of Dalys and Chik Tormenta.
  • Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana were victorious over the LWO’s Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado in a six-man tag team match.
