Roman Reigns is officially off the Clash in Paris card. WWE confirmed the change after the August 11 episode of RAW, citing his upcoming film work in Australia for the Street Fighter movie.
His absence has reshaped the event’s plans. The main event is now a Fatal Four-Way for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Seth Rollins defending against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. Uso steps into a spot many expected to belong to Reigns.
This change halts a storyline that seemed headed toward a major showdown involving Reigns. On the August 4 RAW, he stepped in during an attack on Punk and Knight by The Vision, sparking talk of a six-man tag or a singles match against Rollins. Those ideas are now shelved in favor of the title match.
After Paris, Reigns is expected to miss about four weeks for filming. While not confirmed, reports suggest he may be back in time for Survivor Series: WarGames in November. Even then, his part-time schedule could keep him out of the immediate title mix.
Reigns still appears in some promotional materials for Clash in Paris, adding to fan confusion before the updated card was revealed.
