The first listed match is Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Another scheduled contest would see United States Champion Solo Sikoa face Sami Zayn, who recently moved to SmackDown and began a rivalry with the champion. The third matchup involves WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch taking on Nikki Bella, who returned on the August 18 episode of Raw to confront Lynch.
If confirmed, these contests will join the four matches already officially announced for the Paris La Défense Arena card:
- Seth Rollins defending the World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal Four-Way against CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight.
- Logan Paul facing John Cena.
- Sheamus vs. Rusev in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match.
- Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed.
WWE advanced several storylines tied to Clash in Paris during the August 22 SmackDown in Dublin. The company has been unveiling the lineup gradually, and official confirmation of the new championship matches is expected ahead of the final RAW and SmackDown episodes before the event.
