The Undertaker is expected to have an increased presence in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide following his appearance at Triplemanía XXXIII on August 16. The wrestling legend was part of a significant WWE contingent in Mexico City for AAA’s biggest event of the year. He appeared backstage alongside WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels. The trio was photographed on the entrance ramp before the show, with the image being shared across WWE’s social media platforms. The WWE presence at the show also included Omos winning the Bardahl Cup and a surprise appearance by AJ Styles in the main event.
This development aligns with The Undertaker’s previously expressed interest in contributing to the creative side of the wrestling business. According to AAA’s Konnan, The Undertaker has already participated in high-level creative meetings for joint WWE and AAA events in 2025, including Money in the Bank and Worlds Collide. Konnan has also stated that The Undertaker is “very interested in being part of the creative team.”
In interviews from June 2025, The Undertaker confirmed he had discussed a potential creative role with WWE officials. He mentioned that coaching on reality programming had “sparked that creativity” but also noted his hesitation regarding the time commitment required for a full-time position, citing family responsibilities and a heart surgery he underwent that same month.
