Vince McMahon Spotted in New York City with Bruce Prichard and JBL

Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has made his first public appearance since his recent high-speed car crash, seen in NYC with longtime associates.

Vince McMahon was seen publicly on August 23, 2025, for the first time since his recent car accident. The former WWE Chairman was spotted in New York City leaving a restaurant with Bruce Prichard and JBL, getting into the backseat of a vehicle. The appearance also marks the first time he has been seen in public since debuting a new slicked-back white hairstyle in the TMZ special, The Real Hulk Hogan.

This sighting follows a car crash on Connecticut’s Merritt Parkway in which McMahon, reportedly driving his Bentley at speeds up to 90 mph, rear-ended a BMW driven by Barbara Doran. Doran stated on Facebook that the impact “launched her car over 100 yards and off the road.”

According to reports, a state trooper was already attempting to pull McMahon over for erratic driving at the time of the collision. The officer told Doran that “McMahon saw me last minute and swerved, smashing into my left rear, but that if he had hit me full on, there might’ve been a very different ending for me.”

Sources within WWE told Fightful Select that McMahon’s driving has been a concern for years. One longtime employee described it as a “‘joke, but serious,’ within the company for many years that Vince was an erratic driver,” adding that some colleagues would intentionally avoid riding with him. Another source noted that McMahon “has always enjoyed driving himself.”

Prior to this, McMahon’s last widely reported public appearance was on March 17, 2025, when he attended a New York Knicks and Miami Heat basketball game at Madison Square Garden. During the broadcast, he was identified as a “former Wrestling promoter.”

McMahon resigned from his position as Executive Chairperson of TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, in 2024. The resignation followed a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, which included allegations of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking. A federal investigation into the matter is ongoing, and McMahon has since sold all of his remaining stock in TKO, severing his financial ties to WWE.
