A new possibility has been floated for Roman Reigns’ currently unannounced role at Clash in Paris, suggesting he could be added to the World Heavyweight Championship match.
On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts proposed that RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, growing increasingly frustrated with champion Seth Rollins, could decide to insert Reigns into the contest, turning the planned Fatal Four-Way into a Fatal Five-Way. Another potential, though less prominent, scenario discussed was a singles match between Reigns and Bronson Reed at the event.

Roberts elaborated on the logic behind the potential addition, framing it as a decision Pearce could make in storyline. “You can’t help but look at this four-way and go, where does Roman fit in? And of course, there’s a chance that maybe next week, Adam Pearce gets even more angry at Seth Rollins and goes, ‘You know what? Forget it. I’m adding another person into this fatal four-way’,” Roberts stated. “It’s going to be a five-way match with Roman and LA Knight and Seth Rollins and CM Punk and Jey Uso and basically just all the biggest stars on Raw in the ring at one time and one person leaves with the World Heavyweight Championship.”
This speculation arises as Reigns is advertised for the August 31st Premium Live Event but lacks a confirmed opponent. His direction has been undefined since his return ahead of SummerSlam, where he and Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a tag team match. The potential for a title opportunity follows Paul Heyman’s betrayal of Reigns at WrestleMania 41, where he aligned with Seth Rollins.
The development is a notable shift from previous reports on August 8, which indicated that Reigns was expected to participate in a tag team match in Paris, possibly a rematch from SummerSlam. Tensions have escalated since then, with Reigns being attacked on a recent Monday Night Raw by the trio of Rollins, Breakker, and Reed.
Reigns’ appearance at Clash in Paris will be his final one for a period of time. He is scheduled to take a hiatus from WWE programming to begin filming the “Street Fighter” movie on September 2, a project expected to last approximately four weeks.
