Possible Future Member of The Bloodline Has His WWE Debut Postponed Again

Lance Anoa’i’s WWE debut has been delayed once again after the wrestler suffered a new injury this summer, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Sapp reported that Anoa’i was initially sidelined by a physical setback shortly after signing with WWE in 2024, with expectations he would return by mid-2025. However, the second injury has now halted those plans, with Sapp describing the situation as “an unfortunate bit of bad luck that has prevented him from debuting.”

Anoa’i, the son of veteran Samu and a member of the Anoa’i family, had been signed for more than a year with the company. Before joining WWE, he competed in MLW from 2018 to 2023 and also wrestled in Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. His debut had been scheduled for NXT.

Reports from Dave Meltzer indicate that, beyond the injuries, there are internal doubts within WWE about Anoa’i’s long-term potential. The lack of television time and recurring physical issues have raised questions about his future, particularly when compared to other recently signed relatives, such as Jacob Fatu.

For now, WWE has suspended all creative plans for Lance Anoa’i’s debut indefinitely.
