The in-ring return comes ahead of her championship opportunity at NXT Heatwave on August 24, where she will challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Title. In a Triple Threat Match, she will face champion Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich. This will be the first time the TNA Knockouts Championship is defended at a WWE premium live event, highlighting the ongoing partnership between the two promotions.

Since her WWE departure in September 2023, the TNA star has made a few non-competing appearances on NXT programming. She appeared at Battleground last year and was also seen on the August 12 edition of NXT, observing a match between Fatal Influence and the team of Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice.

Her faction, The Elegance Brand, recently defended their TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships at Emergence on August 15. The event saw a brawl erupt involving Ash By Elegance, Jacy Jayne, and Masha Slamovich, escalating the tensions leading into their Heatwave title match.
