ESPN has removed its dedicated All Elite Wrestling (AEW) page from its news portal. Fans attempting to access the section are now met with an error message, confirming that the page is no longer active.
Archived AEW articles can still be found through the site’s search function, but the organized section that previously housed company coverage has been deleted. ESPN’s reporting on AEW had already slowed in recent months, with the last update tied to the Grand Slam Australia card in February.
The decision comes immediately after WWE announced a new U.S. broadcast partnership with ESPN. Under the agreement, all WWE premium live events will air on ESPN platforms, beginning with Wrestlepalooza on September 20.
WWE was able to end its deal with Peacock ahead of schedule, opening the door for the ESPN partnership. As a result, ESPN will now serve as the exclusive outlet for WWE’s major shows in the American market, including Crown Jewel on October 11 and Survivor Series on November 29.
