Braun Strowman Makes Major Career Announcement Following WWE Exit

The former WWE star has detailed his next career steps, which include ventures in television and the spirits industry, while not ruling out an in-ring comeback.

Braun Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, has officially announced his next career moves following his WWE release, revealing plans for a new television show and a tequila brand in a video posted to his Instagram account. While outlining his new focus outside the ring, Strowman confirmed he is not closing the door on a potential return to wrestling.

In the video, Strowman addressed his future directly.

“It’s no secret the last decade plus my life, I’ve travelled around the world getting hit in the head. And it’s been an absolute amazing ride. Not saying that I’m not going to get back in the ring and whip somebody’s ass, because we all know I can, but it’s an opportunity for me to try some new stuff and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Strowman detailed that his immediate plans involve a food-centric television show and a partnership with a tequila company he personally endorses.

“With my passion and my exciting new television show, coming out in the food space… and you know, my passion for spirits as well. I’ve really, really learned that I like tequila… I found one that, well, reminds me of me. They’re hard working, they believe in themselves, they don’t cut corners, and they’re not full of s–t.”

The upcoming project is titled “Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” and is scheduled to premiere on the USA Network in the fall of 2025. This move marks a significant step into mainstream entertainment for the 41-year-old, who was released from his WWE contract in May 2025.

Reports have widely attributed Strowman’s release to financial reasons, with his salary reportedly being a key factor in the company’s decision-making. Strowman himself has been vocal about his departure, stating on social media on August 1 that WWE made a “foolish business decision” by letting him go while continuing to feature his likeness in promotional materials.

His last televised match occurred on April 18, 2025, where he teamed with LA Knight to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. While there has been industry speculation about AE being a potential destination once his 90-day non-compete clause expires, no official negotiations have been confirmed.
