WWE has already defined the new plans for Drew McIntyre for WrestleMania 42, totally altering the current scenario.

As we previously reported on The Wrestling Reports, the expectation is that McIntyre will be defeated by Cody Rhodes in the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown, on March 06, losing the Undisputed WWE Championship.

According to Bodyslam.net, aiming at this title loss on the part of McIntyre, Jacob Fatu should be his opponent at the Showcase of Immortals.

The plans would be being altered by WWE, still according to the portal, due to the schedule of McIntyre after WrestleMania 42. The Scottish Warrior will move away from the programming of the company for an indeterminate period to integrate the recordings of Highlander.

An important point to highlight, however, is that, as much as a victory of Rhodes on next Friday seems probable, nothing was officially confirmed until the moment.

The match of March 06, inclusive, was set by Nick Aldis in the post-show of Elimination Chamber, in Chicago, as a form of punishment to McIntyre due to his interference in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, which ended with the victory of Randy Orton.
