WWE Officially Gives Bronson Reed New Nickname On RAW

WWE has officially recognized Bronson Reed’s new moniker, “The Tribal Thief,” by releasing merchandise featuring the name. The move solidifies the name just before Reed confronted Roman Reigns on Monday’s episode of RAW in Birmingham.

The nickname stems directly from Reed’s recent actions against Reigns, which include several attacks and the theft of his shoes. Reed now wears the sneakers around his neck as a trophy he calls the “Shoe-la-fala,” a taunt that prompted Paul Heyman to first label him “The Tribal Thief” weeks ago.

During the segment on RAW, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman interrupted Reigns. Reed made a surprising claim to Samoan heritage, a declaration that appeared to catch Reigns off guard.

This confrontation serves as the final build-up for their match at Clash in Paris this Sunday. The bout was officially announced by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, setting the stage for the August 31 premium live event.

The challenge for the one-on-one match was laid down by Reigns himself on the August 18 episode of Raw. His return came as a surprise, interfering to assist Jey Uso in an Extreme Rules match against Reed’s stablemate in The Vision, Bron Breakker.

Leading up to the latest episode of RAW, Reed had intensified the feud through social media. In a video released on August 24, he mocked Reigns as a “part-timer” while once again showing off the stolen sneakers and claiming his faction was “taking over.”
