Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed Kick Off RAW With Massive Brawl

An intense promo segment on Raw turned violent after Bronson Reed’s surprising claim about his Samoan heritage led to a massive, show-opening brawl with Roman Reigns ahead of their Clash in Paris match.

Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed Kick Off RAW With Massive Brawl

The August 25th episode of Monday Night Raw opened with a massive brawl between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed that spilled from the entrance aisle into the ring. The physical confrontation was ignited after Reed, standing alongside Paul Heyman, declared he was “the Samoan that his father warned him about,” a statement that visibly stunned and angered Reigns.

The segment began with Roman Reigns addressing the Birmingham, UK, crowd, acknowledging his recent downfall and the loss of his titles and The Bloodline. As he contemplated his future, Paul Heyman interrupted, appearing on the entrance ramp with Bronson Reed. Heyman stated that while he still loves Reigns, he was there to deliver “tough love,” claiming Reed would be the one to administer it at Clash in Paris.

Reed then took the microphone to deliver his provocative line about his heritage. In response, Reigns declared that if Reed was indeed Samoan, then “your ass belongs to me,” demanding he enter the ring to acknowledge him. When Reed refused, Reigns charged up the aisle to meet him, sparking the wild brawl.

The fight saw both men trade heavy blows before spilling into the ring. Reed gained a temporary advantage, crushing Reigns with a powerful senton. However, Reigns recovered and fired back with a Superman Punch that sent Reed retreating, with the two continuing to fight as security officials rushed to intervene.

The chaotic brawl is the latest escalation in a rivalry that has intensified over the past month. Reed is part of a dominant faction, formed in May alongside Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman, that has targeted top stars. On the August 4th episode of Raw, the group launched a vicious three-on-one assault on Reigns, CM Punk, and LA Knight.

Reigns made his return on August 18, interfering in an Extreme Rules Match between Jey Uso and Bron Breakker. After delivering a Spear to Breakker, Reigns came face-to-face with Reed and issued a direct challenge for a match at Clash in Paris, which was later made official by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.
