Royce Keys, one of the major signings of WWE in 2026, has not yet shown what he came for. With a timid debut at the Royal Rumble, in Saudi Arabia, on January 31, the former AEW World Trios Champion has not made any more TV appearances since then.

Earlier this week, after a statement from WrestleVotes, it was speculated that WWE would have no immediate plans for Keys, which left several fans worried, given that he left AEW in search of better chances.

However, what was described by WrestleVotes has no relation to the rumors raised. In fact, the plans are for him to be part of the Friday Night SmackDown roster, however, he still remains without a date to return to TV.

Keys, despite not appearing on the shows, participated in an important interview with Stephanie McMahon, on What’s Your Story?, where he revealed emotional details about his life before and after pro-wrestling.

The wrestler signed with WWE on January 23, ending a stint of almost six years in AEW, where, besides being World Trios Champion, he also conquered the TNT Championship.
