First Title Match Confirmed for WWE No Mercy 2025

The first championship match for NXT No Mercy is now official. Lola Vice will challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship at the next premium live event.

Vice secured her title opportunity by winning a Triple Threat match at NXT Heatwave on August 24. The bout saw her overcome both Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan to become the number one contender.

The contest at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium was a back-and-forth affair. Jaida Parker used her power to deliver double bodyslams early on, while the former NXT Women’s North American Champion, Kelani Jordan, relied on her agility with high-flying moves like a corkscrew dive to the outside.

During the match, Vice utilized her Muay Thai-inspired offense, including a Dragon Sleeper that was broken up by a frog splash from Jordan.

The finish came after nearly 12 minutes of action. Jordan hit a helicopter-style TKO on Vice and went for a 450 splash, but Vice caught her in a guillotine choke on the way down. Parker then entered the ring to hit her “Hipnotic” finisher on the fading Jordan, only for Vice to immediately score a rollup pin on Parker for the win.

This victory earns Lola Vice a future championship match against the current NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne.
