Drew McIntyre Reacts To Cody Rhodes Getting Booed On WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre has capitalized on a surprising negative crowd reaction towards Cody Rhodes, taking to social media to mock the Undisputed WWE Champion. In his post, McIntyre directly referenced the boos, stating, “You’re really shocked the rest of the world want to see Homelander defeated? Come on…”

McIntyre’s comments were a direct response to the opening segment of RAW. The incident occurred when Roman Reigns mentioned Cody Rhodes’ name during his promo, prompting a cascade of boos from the live audience in Birmingham, UK.

Roman Reigns paused to directly address the crowd’s reaction, remarking that it was “interesting.” The moment came as Reigns was discussing how the faction known as “The Vision” had fulfilled a prediction made by Rhodes over a year ago.

The social media jab is the latest escalation in the conflict between McIntyre and Rhodes. The animosity has been building since McIntyre launched a brutal attack on The American Nightmare during the August 8 edition of SmackDown.

Following the mention of Rhodes, the segment on RAW was interrupted by Bronson Reed, leading to a brawl with Roman Reigns. Security eventually separated the two after Reigns countered a Tsunami Splash with a Superman Punch, building towards their scheduled match at Clash in Paris.
