Blake Monroe’s next match has been officially scheduled for the post-Heatwave edition of NXT on August 26. NXT General Manager Ava confirmed backstage that Monroe will face Kelani Jordan in a singles contest. The announcement comes just after Monroe secured a major victory over Jordynne Grace at Heatwave, while Jordan was on the losing end of a Triple Threat match at the same premium live event.
This upcoming bout is a direct follow-up to their previous encounter on the August 5th edition of NXT. In that match, Monroe lost via count-out after her rival, Jordynne Grace, chased her out of the venue, preventing a decisive finish.

Monroe’s win at Heatwave was a landmark moment in her career, marking her first singles match on a premium live event. The heated grudge match against Grace concluded after Monroe used an exposed turnbuckle to her advantage, slamming Grace’s head into the steel before hitting her signature DDT for the pinfall.
The victory was the culmination of a bitter feud that ignited at Evolution. During Grace’s NXT Women’s Championship match against Jacy Jayne, Monroe, who was at ringside, betrayed Grace by striking her with the title belt, allowing Jayne to retain. The rivalry escalated further on the July 22 episode of NXT when Monroe attacked Grace with a DDT onto a steel chair, forcing her out of action with a neck injury.
In addition to the Monroe versus Jordan rematch, several other matches have been announced for the August 26th program:
- Blindfold Match: Lexis King vs. Myles Borne
- The Culling (Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley) vs. Wren Sinclair & a partner to be announced
- Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) vs. Sol Ruca, Lola Vice & ZARIA
