Becky Lynch to Defend Women’s Intercontinental Title Against Nikki Bella at Clash in Paris

Becky Lynch will defend her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella at Clash in Paris. The match was finalized during a tense in-ring segment on Monday Night Raw in Birmingham, England.

The confrontation began after Lynch, who insulted the live crowd, was interrupted by Bella. The Hall of Famer cut straight to the point, questioning why the champion refused to face her for the title and asking, “Becky, if you’re not a dog then why are you acting like a little bitch?”

Lynch dismissed the challenge, stating, “I’m not giving away opportunities, especially to Broke Neck Barbie.” The animosity between the two has escalated since the August 4th episode of Raw, where Lynch delivered a sucker punch to Bella.

The exchange grew more personal when Bella claimed she “carved the path” in WWE, prompting Lynch to reply that she never wanted to respect her, but to replace her. Bella then accused Lynch of being nothing more than “Charlotte Flair’s sidekick.” After questioning if Lynch had any courage and calling her a coward, the champion finally relented.

“You can have your match at WWE Clash in Paris,” Lynch declared.

The segment concluded when Lynch attempted a cheap shot, but Bella countered and set up for the Rack Attack 2.0. Lynch managed to escape the ring, officially setting the stage for their title bout on Saturday, August 31.
