After a vignette on last night’s AEW Dynamite teased his return, it’s now confirmed that Hook has signed a new long-term deal with AEW. Fightful Select reports the second-generation wrestler agreed to a multi-year contract earlier this year.

The deal was finalized in 2024, ending any uncertainty about his status. According to the report, Hook had already committed to the agreement before news broke that he was working with Barry Bloom’s agency.

This update comes as Hook readies for his first appearance since April. He’s been out with a concussion, keeping him off AEW television for months.

The return teaser on Dynamite was the first official sign that he’s close to coming back. With his contract set and recovery on track, Hook’s return adds depth to the AEW roster heading into the next stretch of programming.
