The finish of the match saw Pagano put Angel through a table on the outside, while in the ring, Psycho Clown wrapped Berto in barbed wire before executing a Spanish Fly from the top rope to secure the pinfall victory. The win brings the championships back to AAA and ends Los Garza’s reign at 62 days.

Los Garza originally won the titles on June 16, 2025, at Triplemanía Regia in a four-way match that also involved Psycho Clown and Pagano, the former champions Sanson and Forastero, and the team of Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth. During their reign, the WWE duo successfully defended the belts twice. Their first defense was against Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr. in July, followed by a victory over Psycho Clown and Mr. Iguana on the August 1, 2025, episode of WWE SmackDown. The challenge for the Triplemanía XXXIII rematch was issued following that contest.

This victory marks the second AAA World Tag Team Championship reign for both Psycho Clown and Pagano. The two previously held the titles together in 2017. Pagano also held the championship with El Mesias, while Psycho Clown had a reign in 2024 alongside Negro Casas.
