Brie Bella is not banned from WWE. A report from Fightful Select confirmed that the WWE Hall of Famer’s absence is tied only to the company not having creative plans for her at this time, shutting down weeks of speculation.

The rumors had gained momentum after Brie’s own remarks in July on The Nikki & Brie Show. She said she believed her husband Bryan Danielson’s AEW contract might be seen as an “obstacle” to her return, and admitted that some within WWE seemed “uncomfortable” with the situation. Still, she stressed she holds no resentment and is instead focused on her personal life, describing this period as her “Soft Girl Era.”
While Brie remains out of action, Nikki Bella continues to campaign for a Bella Twins reunion. Speaking to Sports Illustrated on August 27, Nikki said she consistently pushes for her sister’s return, a wish she claims is echoed by several women in the WWE locker room.
Nikki acknowledged the complications involved, saying, “I don’t think legacies should be defined by spouses, but I also understand the business side.” She added with optimism that WWE is “becoming more open” to the idea of Brie coming back, though she admitted the process will take time.
