The discussion gained momentum after their performance at NXT Heatwave 2025, where Page and Green defeated Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele in a tag team match. Company officials reportedly see the pairing as the foundation for a Canadian stable that could quickly position Page as a central figure on SmackDown.

Their alliance has been shaped in recent weeks through a nationalist-driven presentation. On the NXT episode following Heatwave, Page and Green attacked Heights and Steele, closing the segment with Page covering his opponent’s body with a Canadian flag.

Support for Page’s push has not come solely from within WWE. Executives at The CW, the network airing NXT, have also advocated for the move. Impressed by his presence during media appearances, the network is said to be pushing for Page to receive greater exposure across WWE programming.

If the move goes forward, it would mark another milestone in Page’s rapid rise. He joined WWE in May 2024 and captured the NXT Championship just 40 days after his debut. He currently holds the NXT North American Championship, a title he won in May 2025. To reinforce his anti-American persona, Page introduced a customized version of the belt featuring a strap adorned with the Canadian flag.
