Bea Priestley has officially signed a multi-year contract with Stardom, marking her return to the promotion where she was once a top foreign star. The former WWE talent confirmed the news on Instagram, updating her profile description to “top gaijin.”
This move comes six months after Priestley was released by WWE in February. Her run on SmackDown lasted only eight months, ending with her final televised appearance in November 2024 when she was eliminated in the opening round of the Women’s United States Championship tournament.

Her release followed a wave of roster cuts that also included Sonya Deville and Cedric Alexander. According to reports at the time, WWE’s creative team had abandoned plans for Priestley, including a potential role alongside Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in the group that eventually became Secret Hervice. Alba Fyre is believed to have taken the spot that had been considered for her.
Priestley said after her departure that she believed the decision was due to budget cuts and stated that she held no resentment. Announcing her new chapter, she wrote:
“I’ve officially signed with @wwr_stardom and I’m now part of the roster full-time 💕.”
With the deal now confirmed, Stardom has wasted no time placing Priestley into a high-profile position. She is set to challenge Saya Kamitani for the World of Stardom Championship on September 6, solidifying her immediate re-entry into the main event scene.
