“The only good thing to ever come out of here died a month ago. But to be fair to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the sense to move to Los Angeles, a real city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the late musician, condemned the promo on Instagram. She described Lynch as “a disrespectful piece of trash” and added:
“Shame on WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”
According to internal sources, the line was not cleared with the Osbourne family beforehand. The backlash has reportedly left WWE executives embarrassed and uncertain about how to contain the fallout. Discussions are underway regarding whether to issue a public or private apology.
The timing of the comment has intensified the criticism. Ozzy Osbourne, born in Birmingham, died on July 22, barely a month before Lynch’s remarks. While intended to generate heat for her heel persona, the decision to invoke a recent death has drawn widespread disapproval.
