Newly surfaced backstage video reveals wrestler AJ Mana telling Raja Jackson to get his “receipt” on Syko Stu before the now-infamous assault at KnokX Pro.

New Backstage Video Shows Wrestler Instigating Raja Jackson To Attack Stuart Smith

A backstage video posted by former UFC star “Filthy” Tom Lawlor has added a new layer to the controversial in-ring assault involving Raja Jackson, son of MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The clip shows wrestler AJ Mana appearing to instigate the attack, telling Raja to “give him that fu**ing receipt” shortly before Jackson entered the ring and assaulted Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith.

The incident occurred at a recent KnokX Pro event, where Raja Jackson, a 25-year-old MMA fighter, entered the ring during Smith’s match. Jackson slammed the army veteran to the mat and delivered a series of unanswered strikes until other wrestlers intervened. The attack left Smith seemingly unconscious in the ring.

Initially, the situation was framed as a “work that went wrong.” An earlier altercation outside the venue saw Smith strike Jackson on the head, which was supposed to lead to a planned “payback” spot during the show. Rampage Jackson addressed the controversy on X/Twitter, condemning his son’s actions and expressing concern for Smith’s recovery.

“Raja is an MMA fighter, not a pro wrestler, and had no business involved in an event like this,” Rampage wrote. “I don’t condone my son’s actions at all.”

The footage released by Lawlor, however, complicates the narrative by suggesting direct encouragement from another wrestler. In his post, Lawlor issued a warning to the wrestling community: “Professional Wrestlers be careful who [you] trust. No one is watching out for you.”

The incident has drawn reactions from across the wrestling world, including WWE’s Rusev, who noted on social media that he and Smith used to train together.

Following the assault, Smith was hospitalized but was reported to be “awake and stable.” The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that a police report was filed and an active investigation into the incident is underway. Kick, the platform that live-streamed the event, has since banned Raja Jackson.
