The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating Raja Jackson, son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, after a violent in-ring attack on wrestler Syko Stu at a KnokX Pro Academy event on Saturday night. Authorities have confirmed a police report was filed and the incident is under review, with potential charges ranging from felony assault to attempted murder.
The attack occurred during a live-streamed match where Jackson, who was not a scheduled participant, entered the ring, slammed Stu to the mat, and delivered more than 20 punches to the head and face of his apparently unconscious opponent. The assault continued until referees and other wrestlers intervened. Syko Stu was subsequently hospitalized, with sources reporting Saturday night that he was “fine and recovering.”

According to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, the confrontation was supposed to be a planned spot. The sequence of events began backstage when Syko Stu reportedly hit Raja Jackson with a can of a drink. Raja, who his father noted is an MMA fighter and not a pro wrestler, was then told he could get his “payback” in the ring as part of the show. While a takedown was planned, the barrage of legitimate strikes that followed was not scripted.
In a public apology, Quinton Jackson condemned his son’s actions, stating, “I do not condone his actions at all.” He also revealed that Raja had recently suffered a concussion and should not have been involved in a physical altercation.
Eyewitness and fellow wrestler Douglas Malo, who attempted to pull Raja off the downed Syko Stu, described the scene as “tragic” and “barbaric.” Malo stated that Jackson then became aggressive towards him, attempting a double-leg takedown.
In response to the incident, KnokX Pro organizers issued a statement calling the attack a “selfish, irresponsible act of violence” and have banned Raja Jackson from all future events.
