Mercedes Mone retained her AEW TBS Championship at Forbidden Door, winning a chaotic four-way match that featured talent from AEW, CMLL, and Stardom. The champion pinned CMLL’s Persephone to secure the victory, strategically intervening just as Alex Windsor appeared close to winning the title in her home country.
The closing moments of the match saw Windsor lock Persephone in a Sharpshooter. Mone broke the submission with a lungblower on Windsor, preventing a title change. As Persephone attempted to capitalize by lifting Mone, the champion countered the move into a successful pinfall. The match also featured Stardom’s Bozilla.

The victory concluded a demanding weekend for Mone, who competed in three championship matches in London. Before her Forbidden Door title defense, where she made a special British-themed entrance showcasing all her championship belts, she had already wrestled twice for Revolution Pro Wrestling. On Friday, she defeated Emersyn Jayne to capture the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship.
This latest win brings the total number of belts in Mone’s possession to nine. Seven of these are active titles, including the AEW TBS Championship, the CMLL Women’s World Championship, and the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, alongside championships from independent promotions in Poland, Italy, and Austria. The other two belts are the ceremonial title from winning the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament and the inactive Queen of Southside Championship, which was previously unified with the RevPro Women’s title.
This successful defense at Forbidden Door marked her 19th for the TBS Championship, extending her reign to over 455 days as she approaches Jade Cargill’s record of 508 days.
