WWE Royal Rumble 2026 has a major leak circulating online, and this one goes far beyond simple updates tied to venue construction. WWE Royal Rumble 2026 has a massive leak circulating online, and with the premium live event now less than two weeks away, interest in the first-ever Royal Rumble held outside North America continues to grow.
The 39th annual Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, January 31, at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE confirmed the historic venue back in December, and preparations for what is expected to be a large-scale production have been underway ever since.
Construction at KAFD is already moving at full speed. Visible staging work has been ongoing for several days, reinforcing that WWE is investing heavily in this international edition of the event. SmackDown will also take place at the same venue on Friday, January 30, setting up an action-packed weekend.
When it comes to confirmed participants, the list remains unusually short. Cody Rhodes announced on the January 16 episode of SmackDown that he will enter the Men’s Royal Rumble match, making him the only officially declared entrant on the men’s side so far.
That decision followed storyline developments involving Drew McIntyre, who made it clear that Rhodes would not receive an immediate rematch for the Undisputed WWE Title. As a result, the Royal Rumble has become Rhodes’ clear path back to title contention.
On the women’s side, no entrants have been officially confirmed. Every potential participant remains either unannounced or positioned as a possible surprise when the match finally takes place.
Promotional Poster Reveals Potential Surprise Appearances

A promotional poster for Royal Rumble 2026 at the KAFD venue has surfaced online, and it includes several names that immediately caught attention. The poster features multiple NXT talents, including Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, and Ethan Page.
The NXT presence is only part of what stands out. Dominik Mysterio, LA Knight, and JD McDonagh also appear on the poster, despite all three having been absent from WWE television in recent weeks. Their inclusion points toward possible returns tied to the event.
One name, however, stands out more than the rest. Oba Femi appears on the leaked material, a notable detail given his growing momentum over recent months. The poster strongly hints at a Royal Rumble debut for the former NXT Champion later this month.
When names appear on official promotional material, it usually suggests involvement in the show itself. Given the nature of the Royal Rumble format, all of the wrestlers featured on the poster are realistic candidates for the 30-person over-the-top-rope matches.
WWE has often used the Royal Rumble as a platform to introduce NXT talent to a wider audience. Vice, Paxley, Page, and Femi all fit that pattern, while potential returns from Mysterio, Knight, and McDonagh would bring established presence to an already busy card.
The event airs at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT on ESPN. With the leak now circulating publicly, discussion around the final Royal Rumble lineups is expected to intensify in the days leading up to the show.
