The former Women’s World Champion suffered a separated and dislocated shoulder during a match against Kairi Sane on the June 16, 2025, episode of Raw. The injury required surgery, which was performed on June 28 by Dr. Jeff Dugas at Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama.
Morgan’s injury occurred during a significant point in her career, sidelining her “Revenge Tour” persona and forcing WWE to alter major creative plans. At the time of her injury, Morgan was reportedly involved in an escalating storyline with The Judgment Day. Despite her absence, her character has been referenced in the faction’s ongoing segments.
Her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, has mentioned Morgan’s eventual return on WWE programming multiple times since the injury. This latest timeline follows a previous shoulder injury Morgan sustained in 2023, from which she made a surprise comeback at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
