AEW Forbidden Door will feature a high-intensity Lights Out match after Will Ospreay made his return on the August 13 episode of Dynamite. True to his word, Ospreay came back in time for the first-ever Forbidden Door in his home country.
His return followed a post-match moment with Jon Moxley. Ospreay hit the ring and issued a challenge to the Death Riders for an Unsanctioned Lights Out Match at the upcoming pay-per-view.

Ospreay’s status for the event had been uncertain after a neck injury caused by a chair attack from the Death Riders at AEW All In Texas. Now cleared, the British star is set to compete on August 24 at The O2 Arena in London.
The Lights Out stipulation ensures the match will be outside standard AEW rules. Ospreay has yet to confirm who will team with him against the Death Riders.
This bout joins a growing card for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, adding another major cross-promotional showdown to the London event.
